We have finished the owl so now we are just going to put it back in it's box that it came in and send it back to put it somewhere around Auckland City. We will be going on a hunt next year to try find owls around Auckland City, Hopefully we find our owl first!

Today we folded a long strip of paper into 1/2 then we got given a equivalent question like how does 1/2 = 2/4 = 4/8. Then we folded the paper in half again and it made 1/4 & we folded it again in half and got 1/8 

Launch your success

Andrew Peterson arrived to our school this morning and talked to us about our future. He made google slides to show what he had come up with about our future. He showed us a formula to success (A+I=M) the A means aspiration the I means Inspiration the M means motivation. These are the key's to success & that is the formula that he told us. He also told us that there was year 7 that gave up his lunch money for a homeless man for 2 weeks & later on those 2 weeks the homeless man grew to become stronger & have more will on him to have a life again

On 24th of July we had our immersion assembly. Our teacher's at Pt England school did there team act for what they are doing for the term like learning about space and NASA. In the begging there a drone pretending to be a alien space ship and then 

Mrs Jacobson & Mrs somerville were being Jedi's protectors of space. They defeated the aliens that were Mrs Burt & Mrs Nua

team 1 had cars flying into space from school and then returning back to where they were. Other teams are learning about the same thing and then we got told the theme for this term.

Update On Our Basket Ball Court

Today 22nd of June 2017 we got into our inquiry class and did some more work on our projects that we did the past last Fridays. We have improved  on our Basket Ball court gym and we have really made it better by adding some new things to it. me and my group have been working on it so hard and we have got so far and we are almost finished with the first plan. I have been making some 3D models
so show what it will look like when we are finish and what its supposed to look like.
We only have 2 weeks left of doing this so hope we finish in time

Immersion Assembly

On Monday the 1st of May was the first day of school for term 2 of 2017. Today at immersion assembly our team are learning about how we could make the school and our block better by building stuff that could help us keep the school clean and tidy. 

In the holidays I went to a friends for a week because the only time i get to see him is on the holidays because he lives out west Auckland in Kelston. When i was there we went to the movies and watched Fate of the furious and it was fun then after the movies we went out side and it was dark and then we decided to go to Olympic park and play some basket basket ball with some other boys then we climbed on the spider web that was there and then we went back home when his mum called and that was my holiday and first day of school.

Pt England school

Pt England school is one of the best schools in G.I East Auckland and I will tell you why? Pt England is most popular for the Chromebooks because we have so many kids that come to our school and say that they want a Chromebook to learn on and plus Chromebooks are way easier to learn on and it is also faster . Pt England School is also known as one of the best rugby, Soccer/Football, Touch and Tag. Our sports teams train to be the best and try hard to get to where they want to be in the future. We also train to be the BEST sports team in  the whole of the Manaiakalani Cluster of schools.

Pt England School has loads of facilities  and class rooms.

And our school has hired people to make a bike track for all of us so we can all have fun together on the bike track and also have loads of fun on the play grounds too. We are known to have one of the best animations in the Manaiakalani Cluster We have over a hundred kids that come to our school and we have primary and intermediate at our school so that when we were in primary we did not have to leave and try to find another school to go to because it might take a month or two to find another school to go to. Instead we made a primary and intermediate so that our parents don’t have to go through more paperwork to get us into another school.

We have Prefects and ambassadors for our school. Our prefects help others to not do bad stuff and to tell them to do the right stuff like how this morning they did a koreo for our assembly and the mono was RESPECT and they told us what the word respect means in their way. Pt England School has camps like Year five and six camp, Year eight camp which is Leadership camp. Our school has fundraisers to pay of some of the money like year eight camp we have to pay one hundred and twenty for our camp but the real cost is three hundred and fifty dollars  that is why we have a fundraiser to get more money in to help the school pay more but we still have to pay our one hundred and twenty dollars to pay a little and the school pays the rest of the money.

That is why Pt England School is one of the most popular

                            Schools in East Auckland NZ.
