The Cast Away

It was a scorching hot morning no one to talk to nothing to eat. But the only thing I can do is just watch the sun rise and set as I sit on my raft waiting to see if I can find a island to rest on. I thought maybe I can find some food or something that I can use to survive out there. The next sunrise I laid my eyes on a big island and I could never take my eyes off it. The island had so  Many coconut trees  I shouted out “COCONUTS” And jumped off my raft and started swimming as fast as I can but then I noticed that it wasn't there. “It was just my mind fooling me again” I said to myself  but it wasn't. I saw the island again maybe it was just the big waves that that covered it. I swam again to it and I made it. “I ran up the coconut tree and stayed up there but I couldn't hold on so I decided to let go.” I ripped off a piece of my t-shirt and tied it together to make a grip for my legs. I put my legs in the tied clothes and jumped on the tree and put my hands upwards and then I jumped and jumped and I got to the top and twisted the coconuts and they went tumbling down like meteors going to hit earth and then that is how you get coconuts. Once I got down i noticed my coconut out at sea so I ran towards the water and swam to the coconut I was so far from the island I couldn't swim any more. But them moments later a terrible storm came towards me and hit me like as if I was a little tree to it. The storm took me far and far out into the darkest depths of the ocean  but then I fell asleep on top of the water waiting for the storm to pass on. I awoke with a big gasp of breath and found myself lying on the seashore with big waves hitting me. I stood up and saw a city and people in it and also those things that are moving around on a track with yellow and white lines on it and a long long box with four wheels with a lot of people on it maybe it was because I was gone for like more than twenty years I forgot what thing were. So than I started a new life in the city. I got a job, a car , a house and a family now.

What 3 ingredients are needed for rust to occur.

Write a brief paragraph explaining the rusting process (why rusting occurs)

The Rusting process is created by The iron surface of the nail reacts with the oxygen mixed in the water it forms iron oxide and Iron oxide reacts with the water It forms hydrated iron oxide –the red stuff we call “rust”.

How could you prevent something from rusting?

You can paint it with any kind of paint that you have or buy You can put oil on it to prevent it from rusting You can also spray on wax to prevent it from also rusting and keep it out of the water out of oxygen if you can and salt so it doesn't rust again

Write 3 sentences explaining something new you’ve learned from this reading.

That how rust can eat steel and rust is also stronger than steel but can crumble if you touch it .And also did you know that rust comes from water that hits the steel it start’s to rust

What was the author's main message in pseudoscience

She is trying to tell us that the chemicals in the original ingredient has more vitamin c then the product’s that are made and the lie’s on the paper tv they think it is healthy by the ingredient in the project.

What are some of the differences between scientists and advertisers?

Scientists	Advertisers
They do stuff like figure out what the item produce and other scientific stuff like what happens when you eat chocolate, veggies and all kind’s of stuff you eat and drink.	They hook people in by writing little paragrph’s like “carrrots can make you see in the dark better’’
There project is to show if the advertisers are actully true or just mking up story to hook people in.	And also blackcurrant raw has more vitamin c And the drink blackcurrant has no vitamin c at all maybe like 3 or 4 vitamin c in it.

I learnt that eating carrots doesn't make you see in the dark like a bat, also i learnt that blackcurrant raw produces more vitamin c but the drink that they make has no vitamin c at all. And also that some newspapers just lie some say chocolate is good for your head but only cocoa beans are the natural ingredient

It is morning and we are getting ready for our test. It was so quiet when we started well kinda. In my mind i was going i can't do this, Its gonna be hard, I cant do this i said in my head but then
 next minute i was like smashing the test like as if i was Albert Einstein but there were some
question that i got stuck on and most of them i tried to do but i did not know the answer too.
I thought that i did'int had to do planing but i wish i did because i think some of the question i did were not right. There were hard, easy and medium question that i answered.

Once upon a time in a dark dark world there were hawks soaring the sky looking for food like a hungry lion going to eat a human. There was a bad wolf and a good wolf they fought each other until one fell down to the ground and never get back up!!!!!!!.

Once upon a time in a dark dark world where hawks were soaring the skies looking for food like a school of soring prahanas There was a bad wolf and a good wolf they fought each other until one fell down to the ground and never get back up!!!!!!!.

One day the good wolf fell and perished into the darkness. He tried to get up but his leg was stuck in the mud and the mud was all dried up and the hawks came soaring down at him but he used all his power and strength to try and get his feet out of the dry mud.

He did it but he was so weak to fight but they met at the end of the forest

they were looking at each other eye to eye.

The bad wolf rushed up on him tearing his

flesh draining his soul turning him into a shadow

now he fight who ever tries to get him back on the ground but he bait everyone except the bad wolf. Nearly every one stood up and watched.

It was shadow vs wolf they fought and fought

until the shadow wolf drained him back to the underworld and they knew that there was going to be a great world.

Memorial Service

This morning we went to the hall for a Memorial  Service for Priscilla Tui. She was a loving mother to
her children. She loved coming to our school and teaching the netball team and she is a rugby manager.
She was in a play at our school and it was so funny she made everybody laugh and
laugh until they were crying and laughing at the same time. She was so happy at our school and at her home.
When she went to the net ball games she said to her team fill in the gaps and they did
and she loved her friends and family very much. Farewell Priscilla Tui.
